SPINOZA Damme (EDWC) for MSFS
Damme Airfield ( ICAO code : EDWC ) is located approximately four kilometers southwest of the Lower Saxony town of Damme in Rottinghausen and is part of the public transport infrastructure of the southern Oldenburg Münsterland region . It is available to all general aviation users without prior notice, 365 days a year. The airfield can be used 24 hours a day.
In 1996, the airfield, including its land, buildings, and all technical facilities, was put up for sale. Several members of the Damme Aeroclub joined forces, acquired the airfield, and founded the company Verkehrslandeplatz Damme Besitzgesellschaft (Damme Public Landing Site Ownership Company) . Since then, the airfield areas have been leased to Verkehrslandeplatz Damme Betriebsgesellschaft (Damme Public Landing Site Operating Company) , whose shareholders are also the airfield owners.
On 20 March 2012, a retired Transall aircraft of the German Armed Forces , first registered in 1970, landed on the grounds of Damme Airfield and has since been exhibited there by the Museum of Technology, Nature and Aviation (registration number 50+37 ).
Either you fly aircraft, glider or helicopter, just take off from Damme.
